Cervix Photo Galleries

Take a Peek!

Each gallery showcases a series of photos of different women’s cervices. There are no external genitalia visible in any of the photos, but they are all taken by using a speculum to open the vagina to view the cervix.  Please view at your discretion.
Please browse the galleries by clicking the images below.  They are organized by category and an * indicates women who have given birth vaginally.

  1. Hi im 28 and check my cervix regularly but it has become very lumpy and rough to the touch I know this cant be normal before it was firm and smooth any ideas what or why it has gone rough and very lumpy
  2. I found this site through Museum of Sex’s Facebook page, Interesting Idea. But and I really do mean this in a positive way…Whats next? The beautiful Prostate? You really can find anything on the internet whether your looking for it or not. I wonder if you would get the same praise and disgust from people for that? Anyway, good work! Keep it up.
  3. hi i am a 32 year old had a normal vaginal birth 12 years ago baby born still birth no heart beat detected so they induced labour…i was 8 months far… anyway after that i wasnt trying to concieve nor preventing…anyway recently i was checking my cervix for mucous as im trying to concieve…i was horrified to learn that my cervix opening is right to the far left of the cervix and its opening is like a long slit…and the remaining part is like a long BIG ball…i personally feel that its quite large but the position is weird…a opening on the far left side and the middle and right is empty?? i feel that my cervix was torn during my last birth cause i could feel something like skin folds as the opening was a long slit like…any insight or advice on this?? OR AM I THE ONLY FREAK OF NATURE?? whenever im checking for mucous i can draw from the upper left but none on the right
  4. Have you considered posting photos of a woman in her 20′s with grade 3 uterine prolapse. It is unusual but it does happen and should be more talked about for the sake of those suffering with it.
  5. I have just started Fertility Awareness Method and trying to learn how to check my cervix. This website is so enlightening! I am intrigued and interested to see what my own cervix looks like. I am so glad that websites like this exist to educate and celebrate women’s anatomy!
  6. Can anyone out there help with stenosis of cervix?? I had LEETZ procedure in 2011, and now 3 years later whilst trying to conceive I’m told my cervix has closed over (very irregular periods also) I am now waiting for another procure to “burn a hole” as my gyne said. I can’t seem to find any information about the procedure & I’m concerned it will leave my cervix very weak if I have more work done to it!! Thank you in advance to anyone that could advise me.
  7. I’m currently 13dpo, I checked my cp earlier today & it was low, hard & closed. My period is supposed to start tomorrow but I have all these pregnancy symptoms. Can you please help. I’m 29 years old
  8. I love this website. When I first felt my cervix I was terrified because it had never been low enough to feel before and I was sure I had some sort of cyst or prolapse (I’m 16). This gallery reassured me that it is a normal thing to have your body change during your cycle, thank you so much for helping me feel calm and happy about my body :)
  9. How on earth do you manange to reach your cervix let alone mouch around in there to feel around? I wouldnt be able to reach & i have reasonably long fingers aswel! How often and what are you generally checking for?
  10. Hi. I am living with Endometriosis. My question is if any that have my particual disese have taken photos to upload here? I love to see that.
  11. Does anyone have pictures of what the cervix would look like while a mother is breastfeeding or more information about the cervix while nursing?
  12. The past two times I have put in a tampon it will not go far. The end where the string comes out will be almost sticking out…I am young so this scares me…please help! I am scared. And I know nothing about this type of thing, so…someone please help…

  14. i am currently on my period and i had just put in my mooncup which i have been using for years when i felt this strange pain around my cervix area?? like suction but also like a bruise kind of a pain?? so i took out my mooncup which was weirdly painful at first then fine and i checked my cervix to see what was going on. i check it relatively often and it normally points basically at my opening if a little back, but this time it was pointing straight at my spine maybe 3 or 4 vertebrae up. i could feel the hard bit behind the cervix because it was in line with the front wall of my vagina and my whole front wall was much more solid and muscular than normal, where it normally feels soft and bladderly. now i just have normal period cramps but when i searched up “cervix facing spine” or “posterior cervix” everything that came was to do with preganancy, i am not pregnant!! i am a virgin!! i am sixteen years old and they didnt teach us this stuff in PSHE??!! someone please help!!
  15. My first pregnancy I had a miscarrage and my second one I terminated it and now am experiencing coplications smelly n brownish discharges. Abdominal pains what could be wrong with my womb
